Bird numbers have leveled off in our area & to me its better with lower numbers. When you strike a bird he usually wants to work & you have a better chance of killing him. Also less chance of hens coming in too & taking him away.

I can not run their mouth calls, others like them. The other calls I handled were ll decent calls, but cost to much IMO

no way Im carring an extra pot to purr, I can do it on my slate just as well if not better, same for a trumpet, can play it perfectly wo a tree caller. Mike

My father in law, took me in 1987 in the catskills, near hunter mt. Have been hooked ever since. He is now passed but I have the home made box call that he used to call my first bird that first day. Mike
