I was Preacher on the old Forum. If you do your sightin work at 40 as stated above you should be good to go. I aim for where the skin meets feathers and at further distances the top of the head

The mount is a modified Remington AimTech Rib Mount. A little file work and it fit perfectly. Rock solid.

Re: Hal’s 2 1/8oz 20ga load
Loaded up some TSS #8 and patterned it. Very nice pattern that fills the 20 inch circle. Center dense as well. As for the recoil on my 20 Gauge Browning Citori. Stout! It reminded me of shooting turkeys with my old 10 gauge single shot when I was young and did not know better!

Re: Citori 20 Guage Choke Help
I shoot a 20 gauge Citori. Top Barrel is a Trulock HW7 Extended Choke. Bottom Barrel is a Trulock Extended Modified Choke. The Modified Extended threw a much more even pattern out of the Citori. I did try the Indian Creek Extended Choke with no problems. Had to use a flush mounted choke for the bott...

Re: 20ga O/U BUILD IDEAS
I found a well used 20 Gauge Browning Citori for $300.00. Selectable triggers and its light. I added the TrueLock HW7 choke for the top barrel and an extended TruLock Modified tube for the bottom. A rib mounted Trijicon RMR for the old eyes. Shoots to point of aim for both barrels and with TSS it fi...

I added a leather stock cover with some padding to my wife's rifle. Looks good and functions perfectly. You can google leather stock cover for some ideas etc.

Re: Buying a new O/U for dedicated turkey rig 20 or 28?
I purchased a used 20 gauge Browning Citori that had some miles on it for 400.00. Loaded up some TSS and set it up with a Trijicon RMR rib mounted sight. I taped the barrels and receiver. The finish on this old gun is perfect with little shine. Bottom Barrel is an extended modified Trulock Choke, To...

Re: TSS through Trulock HW7 Choke Tube?
I did some patterning today with the Browning Citori 20 Gauge with the Trulock HW7 choke tube with the 20XXXL 1 7/8 9 TSS It was a little breezy with temps at about 50 degrees Patterned at 40 yards 290 in the 10 230 in the 20 520 total in the 20. Center dense. http://www.jesseshunting.com/photopost/...

Re: Trijicon rmr 12.9 moa
I have always used the top of the triangle as the point of aim. If you work at it, the set up works well as a range finder as well. You just have to figure how much the triangle covers at what yardage. The triangle also works well in low light and moving (walking) shots. Lead them with the bottom ed...

Re: Trijicon rmr 12.9 moa
I think I am using the 14 moa triangle. I have been using the trijicon stuff for many years. The RMR I got last year works great. I use a flash shade on mine and the only issue is with the shade on if you sit in a dark area looking into a strong sunlighted area there can be some wash out of the tria...

Re: Location of holo/reflex style sight
I have used reflex sights for years and with these old eyes I have I like them a bit out on the vent rib. That way the dot is nice and clear and not fuzzy or doubled up when in close.

Re: Browning Cynergy
I have used Trijicons for many many years. I really like them. No batteries being the main reason. Years back I missed a slammer of a gobbler due to a dead aimpoint battery. The new Trijicon RM08's are not a bright as the old. Sitting in a dark place looking to the light is not so much of an issue a...

Re: Browning Cynergy
I am using a modified Rib Rider on my Browning 20 gauge Citori. The Trijicon RM08 sits nicely and both barrels shoot very closely to point of aim with the dot sight. The Rib Rider required a little bit of file work to have it fit between the Browning rib and barrel. http://www.jesseshunting.com/phot...

Over/Under Shotgun Choke setups
I have been thinking about setting up a 20 Gauge over and under for turkey hunting. The question I have concerns a more open choke for up close and personal shooting. I see what the full and extra full chokes are doing with the TSS. Anybody want to share what one might expect with an over and under ...

It would be interesting to know if that is a stock gun with no work done on it? Something is not right there for sure!
