I mostly carry mouth calls and 1 trumpet. very light weight and not cumbersome like a box call, and you don't have to keep up with a striker as with a pot style call. I remember back in my early teens a time that I carried 2 boxes, 11 pot calls, 30plus strikers, and a couple dozen mouth calls. I car...

usually slice loins in 2in thick cuts for grilling and either grind the hams into burger (I mix in 1 pork butt per ham) or cube em up and can them (15 lbs for 90 mins) neck meat too if a large buck. tenderloins get cooked immediately. shoulders are almost never salvageable. I use a gamesaver titaniu...
summit viper is a top notch stand, I have 6 of them myself. they do, however, wrap all the way around in front so a straight down shot with a bow is tough. summit does have a more friendly bowhunting stand if that is what you are after.
well.....I hunted myself a total of 7 times to poke in a 6 bird limit. got my nephew on a biggun during the juvie hunt and put close friends on 5 big birds during the remainder of the season. not as good as last season but I still brought 12 to the gun. thankfully no one missed.

put this bird in a buddies lap this morning. it had a handful of solid black wing feathers on each side, both spurs were busted in two, had beard rot but the beard was still 11.25 inches, and both legs had been severly frostbitten at the joint. thought it was worth sharing. AA
